SLASH, TOMMY LEE, CHESTER BENNINGTON Jam With CAMP FREDDY

Slash (VELVET REVOLVER, GUNS N' ROSES), Tommy Lee (MÖTLEY CRÜE) and Chester Bennington (LINKIN PARK) are among the guest musicians who joined all-star cover band CAMP FREDDY last night (May 8) for its performance at the Roxy in West Hollywood, California.

This was the second of the four-night Roxy residency for CAMP FREDDY, which features Billy Morrison (CIRCUS DIABLO, THE CULT), Dave Navarro (JANE'S ADDICTION, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS), Matt Sorum (GUNS N' ROSES, VELVET REVOLVER), Donovan Leitch (son of singer Donovan), and Chris Chaney (JANE'S ADDICTION).

According to an in-depth review posted on the ARTISTdirect web site, "The best surprise came when Tommy Lee took over a drum kit facing Sorum and the two launched into a full-on drum duel at the end of the song. Lee flipped sticks and hit hard, facing off with Sorum's calculated, precise pummeling. Then Slash hit the stage and helped bring the house down. When the top hat-donning legend walked out, Navarro smirked. 'Can someone please get Slash a guitar? Is that hard?' 'Appetite for Destruction' classic 'It's So Easy' brought everyone back to the gutter days. Duff McKagan belted out the bass line while doing a throaty and worthy Axl rendition. Slash and Navarro jammed together, volleying lead lines in a completely kinetic fashion that sparked energy from the stage. Both dominated their fret boards, bending notes and ripping through solos."

Come riferito da una fonte nel sito web Artist, la sorpresa più grande avvenne quando Tommy Lee e Matt Sorum si sono sfidati in "duello". Lee ha colpito duro facendo roteare le bacchette, contro quello di Sorum calcolato, preciso (pummeling non so che vuol dì ). Dopo Slash è salito sul palco e ha "calmato la situazione". Quando il leggendario cappellaio ha lasciato il palco, Navarro ha scherzato dicendo "Qualcuno può dare una chitarra a Slash? E' così difficile?. Il classico di Appetite For Destruction, It' So Easy, ha riportato tutti ai giorni felici. Duff Mc Kagan "cantava a squarciagola" con il suo basso mentre imitava la voce di Axl. Slash e Navarro hanno jammato insieme, scaricando a raffica soli in una completa arte che sprigionava energia sul palco. Insieme dominavano il palcoscenico.

Slash , Duff got up for Its So Easy, Paradise and Good Times Bad Times with The amazing Chester Bennington on Vocals. Mark McGrath sang great again. My boy Dono killed Hello Cheap trick and Song 2 Morrison sang Rock n Roll Star good times once again Darling Stilettos opened seen Pictured with TLee.
